PLAY TUTORING

PLAY Tutoring is a subgroup of PLAY Leadership, a non-profit organization. It offers private one-on-one tutoring for elementary and middle school students in English reading and writing, Mathematics, Spanish, Chinese, Art, and more. We have a number of passionate middle & high school tutors that have student tutoring experience and are ready to support struggling students. We will work with parents to develop a specific tutoring plan based on the student's current level and communicate with them about their student's learning progress before the end of each course. At PLAY Tutoring, we are committed to improving the academic experience of every student and helping them reach their fullest potential.

Allison Zhang

Allison Zhang is a junior at Albany High School who has actively participated in PLAY tutoring over the past years. She has experience working with younger children from summer camps and loves helping them academically. Beyond her involvement with PLAY, Allison enjoys playing the piano, traveling, and cooking. Allison likes being with kids and is excited to help with the growth of this tutoring group.

Ryan Li

Ryan Li is a sophomore at Amador Valley High School. He has a deep passion for tutoring and it is currently his third year with PLAY tutoring. He has tutored multiple students over the past year on multiple subjects. Ryan also likes debate, competitive math, pop culture, and baking. He is incredibly excited to help with this subgroup this year.
