PLAY TIMES

Selina Lai is a junior at Quarry Lane School and president of the PLAY Times newsletter team. She oversees the planning, writing, and design of each issue. In addition, she is also a co-president of PLAY Language Arts and the PLAY Organizational VP. Selina works closely with her team to create engaging and informative newsletters that help members stay connected with PLAY’s ongoing and upcoming activities. She hopes the PLAY Times will encourage more students and families to learn about PLAY’s mission and participate in the programs they care about.

​Anna has been an editor and graphic designer for PLAY Times for two years, and is a freshman at Dougherty Valley High School. She enjoys developing bimonthly newsletter with her peers, and making each one look appealing and meaningful, often spending extra time resizing and editing text. She hopes that through her hard work, more people inside and outside PLAY will be able to appreciate the contributions to the community PLAY has ade over the years, and inspire more youth to get involved in our cause.

Aiden Mok is a junior at Dougherty Valley High School. He has been active in PLAY for six years
now. He is involved with conservation, volunteering, at Hayward animal shelter, meal packing at
Kids Against Hunger, and musical performances. He enjoys playing the cello, writing stories and
sketching whenever he has free time. He hopes to have a productive year and to work hard in
order to properly give back to the community!

Jerry Yi is a freshman at Monte Vista High School. He has volunteered with PLAY for the past six years, participating in events such as PLAY Music and sorting and distribution events. He has also been on the PLAY Times newsletter team for the past 2 years. Outside of PLAY, he enjoys playing soccer and riding bikes. He hopes to continue contributing to PLAY and take on leadership roles in the upcoming year.
