About the event
Get your hands in the dirt at Fertile Groundworks, a community farm in Livermore run with Alameda County Master Gardeners. You'll learn real gardening skills — planting, weeding, harvesting, whatever the season calls for — alongside people who genuinely love teaching this stuff. No experience needed, just a willingness to show up and dig in.

Volunteer Requirements: Must be at least 12 years old. Parents must accompany minor children for at least their first visit and stay for the majority of the event. Volunteers must apply through Fertile Groundworks to be added to their roster before attending.
