Promoting Leadership in Aspiring Youth
This year, volunteers from PLAY Leadership
worked on the Fertile Groundworks project in
Livermore. They helped package herb boxes for
customers and separated sprouts to promote better
growth of crops. According to Fertile Groundworks,
while these events teach volunteers about growing
crops, the foods produced are also distributed to
those experiencing homelessness in the Alameda
County Tri-Valley region. PLAY has participated in this event many times throughout 2023, on 2/25, 3/15, and 6/24
