holiday toy drive
PLAY joined It Takes A Village to participate in a toy drive to support over 1,200 children of ages 0-3. These children came from all over San Francisco, whether it be Chinatown, Hunter's Point, Visitation Valley, or elsewhere. PLAY donated $500 worth of new toys in all!
adopt a senior
PLAY volunteers partnered with Adopt-A-Senior to bring the joy of Christmas to seniors in the Tri-Valley by visiting and bringing them some holiday cheer. Volunteers packed a gift and made a craft and holiday card to give to the seniors. They delivered these gifts from door to door at the Pleasanton and Dublin senior centers.

Christmas shoebox packing
PLAY Leadership partnered with Operation Christmas Child to pack Christmas gifts into shoeboxes for underprivileged children. Along with gifts, volunteers also prepared handmade crafts and holiday cards expressing their care and blessings. In all, PLAY packed 84 shoeboxes!
holiday card drive
PLAY volunteers of all ages filled blank greeting cards with words, colors, and drawings to bring their holiday blessings to the Stoneridge Creek Pleasanton Retirement Center. Volunteers then hand-delivered the cards to the seniors, who were appreciative and touched by their actions.
