Promoting Leadership in Aspiring Youth
PLAY volunteers helped pack hot meals to be shipped to people across the Tri-Valley. The event took place at CrossWinds church in Livermore on November 18. These meals were all prepared in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday in order to ensure everyone could enjoy a hot Thanksgiving meal on a day celebrating gratitude and our blessings over the past year. As a collective effort, the volunteers packaged hundreds of boxes of food. These foods include turkey, ham, jams, canned vegetables, and a variety of other nutritious foods.
