Promoting Leadership in Aspiring Youth
The 2023 Presidential Volunteer Service Award ceremony occurred on December of 2023. In all, PLAY members contributed over 3700 volunteer hours in the 2022-2023 volunteer year. PLAY members and families attended, as well as some special guests who were there to show their support; the latter included Pleasanton mayor Ms. Karla Brown and leaders from our partner nonprofits, AGAPE Silicon Valley and It Takes A Village. During the ceremony, PLAY officers and subgroup leaders presented a slideshow, and each awardee gave a short speech.
